The Department of Internal Medicine offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for all age groups. We are well equipped to manage all chronic and acute illnesses. Our healthcare team is well qualified and certified to handle all types of medical cases.
The Department of Internal Medicine at Thumbay Hospital, Fujairah provides comprehensive health care for the population of Fujairah and suburbs like Kalba, Khorfakkan, Al-Qurraya, and people from the Oman border area as well. The medical department provides consultation services to surgical, ICU, OB-GYN, and other medical and hospital specialties in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. Members of the medical department are actively involved in undergraduate Paramedical (Pharmacy) and Dental student teaching.

Academics
There is no concept of a good medical department without teaching and training activities. The Department of Medicine is engaged in various academic activities and is attached to Gulf Medical University for student rotations. Our medical specialists are actively involved in teaching Pharm D students.
