Thumbay Hospital Fujairah took part as Health Partner and sponsor of the International Yoga Day 2026 celebration at Lulu Mall Fujairah turning the day of yoga into a chance for residents to check their health at no cost. The celebration was held in association with Saparya and the Arabian Yoga Instructors Council.
Through the event, the hospital’s medical team offered Consultations with various departments, free blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, and one-to-one health guidance to participants and visitors. Conditions like high blood pressure and raised blood sugar often carry no symptoms until they turn serious, which is exactly why catching them early matters. For many people at the mall that day, a few minutes at the screening table was the simplest health decision they made all week.
“Reaching people where they already are, at a community celebration like this, is often more effective than waiting for them to walk into a hospital. A free screening can catch something a person didn’t know to look for, and that early warning is where good health really begins.
