Thumbay Hospital Fujairah successfully organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Saturday, 06 June 2026, bringing together healthcare professionals for an informative and engaging academic session.
The CME featured a presentation titled “Once a Cesarean, Always a Cesarean? Our One-Year VBAC Experience” by Dr. Naga Priyanka, Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology. The session focused on the hospital’s clinical experience with Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC), highlighting patient outcomes, selection criteria, challenges, and the benefits of evidence-based maternity care.
The event was attended by community referral doctors, consultants, physicians, and staff members of Thumbay Hospital Fujairah. Participants actively engaged in discussions and shared their perspectives on promoting safe and successful VBAC practices.
The program concluded with an interactive discussion session followed by lunch for all attendees.
