Dr. Manoj Kumar has been working as Specialist A Orthopaedic surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedics at Gulf Medical College ( GMC ) Hospital and Research Centre, Ajman and Thumbay Medical and Dental Specialty Centre, Sharjah since May 2014. He has done his MBBS from Govt. T D Medical College, Alappuzha, Kerala ; D Ortho and DNB Orthopaedic surgery from Govt. Medical College Trivandrum, Kerala. He has also done the prestigious AO Trauma International Fellowship in 2015 and has trained in complex orthopaedic trauma under Dr Pere Torner Piffare at the Hospital Universitari Parc Tauli, Sabadell, Spain.
After completion of post graduation, he worked as Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon for 3 years at the 600 bedded Holy Cross Superspeciality Hosptial, Kottayam, in Kerala and also as Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon for two years at Gurayat General Hospital, Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia. He has been with the Thumbay group since May 2014 and works both at the GMC Hospital in Ajman and Thumbay Medical and Dental Specialty Centre in Sharjah. His work and area of interest primarily involve trauma, arthroscopy and hand surgery.
