The Objective of the Department is to provide competent and comprehensive dermatological care to patients seeking its services within the facilities available in the hospital.

From its inception the department has been offering specialized expert care for a wide variety of dermatological diseases ranging from common  conditions like acne , dermatitis and skin infections to life threatening illnesses such as drug rashes and blistering skin diseases. Referrals from other centers are also managed, within the facilities available in the hospital. In addition the Department is also engaged in academics and research
