Introduction

Department of Internal Medicine offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for all ages. We are well equipped to manage all chronic and acute illnesses. Our health care team is well qualified and certified to handle all types of cases.

The department of Internal Medicine atThumbay Hospital, Fujairah, provides comprehensive health care for the population of Fujairah and suburb like Kalba, Khor fakkan, Al- Qurraya and people from Oman border area as well. The medical department provides consultation services to surgical, ICU, OB-GYN and other medical and hospital specialties both in ambulatory and inpatient settings. Members of the medical department are actively involved in undergraduate Paramedical (Pharmacy) and Dental Students.

Academics

There is no concept of good medical department without teaching and training activities, department of medicine is engaged in various teaching activities.The department of medicine is attached with Gulf Medical University for rotation of students, our medical specialist are engaged in teaching activities for Pharm D students.
