Thumbay Hospital Day Care Rolla Conducts Breast Cancer Awareness Program

Thumbay Hospital Day Care – Rolla, Sharjah organized a ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ program on 26^th October 2019, aimed at promoting awareness on breast cancer, and to emphasize the importance of early detection.

The event was conducted as a part of the hospital’s community outreach programs, and included a breast cancer awareness talk by Dr. Sangita Kulkarni (Specialist Gynecologist). The hospital also provided free health checkup with the Gynecologist, including free breast cancer screenings. Pink helium-filled  balloons were released outdoors at the end of the program, highlighting the importance of breast cancer awareness.
